Expanding a polynomial?

I have been given this problem and told it doesn't become unmanageable. You are multiplying 26 factors: (x-a)*(x-b)*(x-c)...*(x-z). My best guess is it starts out z^26 -x^25(a +b+c+d...+z) +x^24 (ab+bc+ac+etc.) but I'm not sure. Help!
