Should i relax my 12 year Old hair?

so she is hispanic but her hair is too frizzy and wavy and its unmanageable and i cant style I was thinking of using just for me relaxer but i have never relaxed hair and i took her to a salon and they made her hair even worst so can some one tell me how to relax her hair
