Relationship problems. Please help.?

I just found out yesterday that the person I like rather much knows that I have feelings for him. My friend told him on the last day of school. She said he answered "Okay. But I don't like anyone yet". Also on the last day of school (after school let out) we were both at the same pool party. I noticed at the party, he seemed a lot more flirty and nice towards me. He pushed me on the tire swing (he offered to), and he smiled and said hi to me with this very sweet smile, and he talked to me a lot. I'm very confused. Can somebody give me any solution of whats going on here? Do you think he likes me?
